The Early Years
After having been a COO of a large corporation,
my family and I moved back to Cape Coral. While I was busy raising three young children, I was also motivated to
become part of the community again. In my daily routine, I began to observe that businesses, large and small, in
the Cape Coral and Fort Myers area were not placing customer service as a priority. Despite their
good intentions, they were operating on a very informal, non-professional basis. As the area was growing by
leaps and bounds and attracting a professional market with high expectations, local businesses were falling short
in meeting the customer service expectations.
Being convinced, after years of experience, that customer service was an
essential tool in the success of any business, large or small, I set out to offer help, advice, and training in
this area. Marketing Matters was born from my desire to instill in others the importance of positive attitude and
commitment in business and in life.
